Annual Community Cookout

Serving, Connecting, and Educating Together

Each year, we host a free community cookout for local low-income apartment communities to bring families, partners, and neighbors together in a positive and welcoming environment.

What the Community Cookout Included:

  • Free food and drinks for families

  • Music and family friendly activities

  • Face painting and custom chains with imprinted names

  • Free homeownership resources and educational materials

  • Community engagement with local police officers and church members

This event was designed to build trust, strengthen relationships, and share helpful resources in a relaxed, family-centered setting.

We are planning to host another community cookout in 2026 and look forward to continuing this tradition.
